Anna Tibaijuka - Helping Young Girls Achieve Education in Africa
Anna Tibaijuka is one of many remarkable women that is not known by many African Americans if any. Tibaijuka has been Executive Director of UN-HABITAT since 2010. The program stands for United Nations Human Settlements Programme. Anna role in the program is to improve poor communities. Also, Anna has a few other programs that focus on the rights of women development in Africa such as Tanzanian National Women's Council.
